Does anybody has good reviews on both systems using the X1D as a MF Back ?

Canon TSE Linses on the X1D - (independent form the given vignette)
and using the Cambo Actus with Lenses which can use the resolution of the back ?

I'm a little biased, but I'm happy to answer any questions you may have!

With Canon TS-E 17mm, the last 3mm or so of shift will result in noticeable vignetting on the X1D, the rest of the shift range is very usable. I tried mine with the Kipon EF-X1D adapter, which allows for electronic aperture control. No issues.

Will test the Actus XCD for about 1 week - Canon and Hasselblad V-Lenses
After the next weekend I will upload more pics with a review.

(Today i was in hurry... take some landscapes in front of my door)
Tilting and shifting works great with the good old V- lenses.
I´m impressed about the quality.

I personally would use tech cam lenses with a copal 0 shutter.

That way you can work independent of E shutter.

yes but as i know you cannot communicate with the x1d and copal system
I know.

Set the desired shutter speed on the copal.
Set the exposure to ~ 1-2 seconds on the x1d.
Click the x1d shutter.
Click the copal shutter with the cable release.

It really depends how fast you are and how long of a exposure you want with the x1d. You could play around with whatever you desire.

But a 1-2 sec exposure at low ISO will yield 0 noise. But no e-shutter artifacts. You effectively turn the x1d into film.

Oh one more thing to keep in mind. You are limited in focal lengths with tech cam lenses, cause of the camera body. FYI.
