Sensor cleaning - Capture Integration Woven Cleaning Cloths

I have been using Pec Pads for cleaning my sensor but often had problems with streaks and fibers being stuck at the edge of the sensor.
I'm currently travelling in Arizone and used all the Pec Pads I had with me to try to clean the sensor which only caused more streaks and droplets....:banghead:

Enter Capture Integration, I called Steve who got some of the CI Woven Cleaning Cloths and CI Sensor Solution
overnighted to me. I just cleaned the sensor with it and with only one pass my sensor was spotless!

So bottom line, if you are in need of cleaning cloths get the CI Woven Cleaning Cloths!! Highly recommended

I can also recommend the Leaf woven cloths if you can find them. No shedding of threads.

These days though I exclusively use the Eyelead sensor gel stick for Sony sensors from here: https://photographylife.com/product/sensor-gel-stick-for-sony - but very specifically only the German version from Photographylife and never ever from eBay/Amazon. They have been perfect on my Phase One, Leica & Fuji cameras but I only recommend them to folks who are absolutely confident with dealing with expensive sensor glass cleaning.

Also, I highly recommend the Visible Dust Zeeion blower!

We actually spent some years trying to source the Leaf sensor wipes more affordably (which are also the same ones that Sinar use in their digital backs as well). Eventually we found these that are now in our kits, as they are very very similar to the Leaf wipes and very un-similar to the Pec Pads (and they're more affordable than the Leaf wipes). No fibers that get caught in the sides, and they have just the right amount of absorbency, which is what solved Peter's problem. Thanks for the shout out Peter, and glad we could help.

We also sell the Zeeion Blower, though I have to caution, we're backordered at the moment, but they can be found elsewhere. We should have them within a few weeks, the wipes are in stock now.

I just receievd the Pentax sensor gel stick which Leica Germany recommends. It is orange/red, Ricoh Part number O-ICK1 out of Japan for Yen 4000 equivalent.

I think this is one I've got. I've been using it on my X1D and it works great.
