    Need help with IQ180 back - Touch not working

    The touch function suddenly stopped working on the lower 2/3 of the display and an invisible finger is touching the upper left corner repeatedly.

    Same result on camera (645DF+), on the tech-camera or off camera. I changed battery, I changed the card and I left the battery out over night, no difference.

    I was told to reset the firmware as a last resort. Not the result I was expecting…

    That looks like the touchscreen is failing, capacitive screens have a grid of connections that feed an encoder chip which then feeds the rest of the system... looks like the bottom array has failed... sorry

    If you have any tiling or centerfold or any other issues, get them all fixed at the same time. They fix all issues for the same price. Of course a new touch screen will cost extra.
