A friend of mine sent me this link -- https://beeg.com/1041381824?t=226 -- and asked me if I knew what camera the photographer is using, because it's huge, appears to have a radio antenna mounted on it, and she has never heard of the "Phase One" brand.

I found all of this quite amusing, but I guess it proves that medium-format cameras are being used for a much wider range of photography than ever these days.

Because, of course, optimal image quality does matter, even for porn ... lol.

If I recall correctly, the photographer/videographer (https://www.hegre.com/) in question shoots his stills with an XF and IQ3 (don't know if he has upgraded to IQ4 yet, suspect he will based on prior experience). The DF in the picture is his previous system, not relegated to backup/prop.

May or may not be a given person's thing, but he's found a niche and executed well enough to upgrade through several Phase One systems, with high production qualities in an industry where the norm is cheap cheap cheap cheap. So props to him!
