functionality seems to be there on the back:

I connect to my local wifi network
i can ping the back from my windows 10 workstation
In capture one I add a camera, give it a name and specify it's IP address

when I try to connect I get the following error:

(101#107) General error: The resource is not open. - Camera is not open.
(200#1011) CaptureCore error: The camera is not found.

anyone managed it?

what the hell?
so its a non-functioning feature included with the IQ3 ?
Who told you that? That was never a feature on the IQ3.

Yes there is WiFi, which you can use with Capture Pilot, but you won't be able to do wireless tether to your computer.
