PC won't tether to P45 anymore ?

Last time I checked, my p45 tethered to my computer just fine.
Now my computer won't recognize it. Capture One 4.7 can't see it either.
Checked cable, uninstalled/reinstalled software.
P45 back recognizes the cable presence and can be powered by firewire.
Am I missing something simple here?
Anyone had this problem. P45 back otherwise working great. Latest firmware in place.
