New Website - Capture Integration

As most of you know, I don't normally do much self promotion here, but given how long we've worked on this and the number of people involved, I would like to announce a completely new website for our company.

I enthusiastically invite you to peruse it!

And know that we have some easter Eggs hidden (hidden links), and if you come across one, or if you report any mistakes or problems you see, you could potentially earn a nice prize. We have over $10,000 in prizes in free product, store credit, equipment rentals, and manufacturer SWAG.

While we worked long and hard, we might have missed something...

If you find a mistake or error, get a chance at a nice prize and please report to: [email protected]

Excited to share the launch with the great community here at GetDPI!

It is a great site; lots of very useful info.

I have had my eye on the Phase 240mm LS lens-
and have been carefully searching for the link that will give me 50% off the lens.

I will keep on looking and looking...

The main menu seems to go missing in most (all?) of the product pages leaving just "Our Values" and a search magnifying glass (no hamburger menu)... What do I win?

Thanks Destin - By any chance is this when you have the page width at a narrow viewing angle?

I have noticed that previously, that if your page is not at a certain width, then the site navigation becomes a search bar with an "Our Values" link above, which is to the left of the site nav on all pages. I have assumed this to be a limitation of the site nav tool we have chosen, since it pushes out to the side. This may or may not change in the future - it bothers me as well.

I tried resizing the webpage and it seems to happen in all resolutions up to my monitor size (2560px?). If you're using a theme, I would assume its a bug in theme and might eventually solve itself when it gets upgraded but it does make navigation annoying.

Also, on pages like this (https://www.captureintegration.com/phase-one/) from UI perspective, I would recommend providing a title to each section. It's hard to see the IQ4 IQ3 etc in the images (and isn't visible in some resolutions) making it impossible to see what the difference is without a mouse rollover.

Yeah, that menu is going to be a problem for you as it makes a lot of the website near inaccessible (especially on mobile). Just to expand on my other comment below, I would consider adding Titles above or on top of almost ALL of your flip boxes.... or better yet, replace the flip boxes with just a title and image.... unless someone taps their finger on them the links wont be visited

Is it better to post things we notice here or to the email? I emailed a few thing's I've noticed, but can also post them here.

I also noticed that the header changes from light to dark themes and the capture integration logo noticeably changes sizes going from the main page to the about us page.

Plus some stuff loads of http vs. https which can lead to the insecure content getting blocked in some browsers.

Anyone found a code yet?! :(

I should mention that if you do find any Easter Eggs, or typos, grammatical errors, errors of other sorts, etc, please report them to [email protected].

And thank you to those who have already, there has been a tremendous response, which we truly appreciate.

Must have been an overwhelming amount of emails! It would have nice to at least get a reply back saying thanks/that the giveaway was over.

Anyone actually get anything?

There were literally hundreds of replies, and we're grateful for all of the participation, but it will take some time to get back to everyone.
