I tend to stick with the Hasselblad remote release (same piece for the 907x) ... After all, $80 isn't all that expensive when you're dealing with a one-time purchase for a $10,000 camera/lens. The Hasselblad remote is very nicely made — MUCH better made than the similarly overpriced one for the Leica SL — and works very well.
I use it frequently, although for many shooting setups/situations the self time and/or Phocus Mobile 2 does the same job.
Of course, if you get a free one and it does the job, the value for dollar is really good.
