Here's a little something for music lovers :)

Interesting, didn't realize that there was one anywhere in SE Asia. The only places that I remember with such grandeur in BKK were the escort clubs, I guess that they're also cultural gathering places of sorts...

Ah, but the French were the real culture imperialists. They wouldn't go anywhere without taking their entire culture with them. They built another one in Hanoi, and they used some of their best architects for these things, just as they hired Gustave Eiffel to build the Long Bien Bridge in Hanoi.

Nowadays, we have another kind of culture imperialism, like McDonalds and KFC. Different look, but the attitude is the same: the world won't survive without our crap :lecture:
