Jorgen,
I love the Bangkok photo featuring the Udvang building. ;)The framing is fantastic. You are sure making that D80 sing.
Any idea when you will be getting the S5? I'm anxious to see how you like it.

Jono,
Why did you have to start posting images like this with that lens? Wowsa! Now wouldn't that lens be a nice kit on the D700?
:argue:

Thanks a lot Cindy. The S5 is still 10 days or so away. The shop is in a part of Bangkok that I don't visit very often, but I have fun while I'm waiting too :)

Jono, that 25mm looks like a cool lens, in spite of what people say about it. I like the book shot, and it gave me some ideas. How close does it focus?

HI Jorgen - officially 17cm, but from the front element it's around 2 inches.
Very Close.
Cindy - You'll need something like this on your new D700 now, won't you? :)

That's a beautiful shot Jono. I'm a sucker for arable land.

And since I've just taken a break from cutting one of my fields that's on the side of a hill, flat sounds pretty appealing tom me!

Thank you!
You just be careful on that tractor :)

Here's some more arable land from today:

these were taken with the D3 and the Nikkor 14-24 f2.8 zoom (just to confuse Cindy :p)

It is easy to confuse me...just ask my husband.:ROTFL::ROTFL::ROTFL:
These are both beautiful, Jono, but I especially like the second one.

Bet I'm more easily confused, just . er, ask um, my wife.:)

Thank you, I liked the second one, I was pleased with the zigzag in the sky.

Jono, your shot of the tree & clouds takes my breath away! That one's stunning. (Consider that I don't offer many compliments on other people's photography very often, either....)
