The lenses are all about 35 years old, manual focus, primes. Joe
I only have manual primes for my D200. I´m sure there are newer lenses that offer improvements, but I´m often astonished at how the old Nikkors deliver. Size, build, reliability, sturdiness are all important to me. (I had a 1964 3,5/55 Micro Nikkor almost for free - excellent results!)

Rayyan! That picture is so colorful and strong - still it makes me remember my grandmother washing her husband´s blacksmith´s clothes - by hand, heating the water on a wood-burning oven. Not much color to that memory. The first washing machine entered the premises sometime in the early sixties.

Steve! Bloody great! I think the guy in #6 looks cool, fun guy to know.

Leif, thanks for stopping by. I too remember my grandmom and my mother washing clothes and can only admire their patience and strength doing the manual wash.

One gets used to the lazy life very easily.

Just lovely, Vlad. I can feel the smell of fresh snow! (around here we only have bone-hard old snow at the moment )

Steve, I agree with Lloyd, #1 is touching in the best sense of the word. I also like the harsh texture and nearness of #2!

Steve, a lovely and impressive set from an uncommon perspective . These three are my favorites. I just love the ' no loitering ' sign and the warning

A coincidence, I am wearing right now a jacket from the Army and Navy store. Had to get it to get loose from my in-laws!! We were in Dallas a couple of years ago, went to Oklohama for a picnic. Longest day of my life!!

Way back, I told them I needed a jacket and they could carry on. I would meet them in Ft. Worth.

Brings back memories and I laughed when I saw your post.

    Regards.

Steve, Rayyan and Vlad, these are really stunning pictures. I had to go back and look at each one for a while just to savor each one. If I had a hat it would be off to you. I visited the snow yesterday, sunny day, 18C, roads are clear, snow on the ground all pretty, Lake Tahoe in January, ahhh. Joe
