Jason: The photos are lovely. I specially love the sunset and dusk ones.

I hope no one got hurt.

    ...the way we saw it...

We sent to see an exhibition. Open air. It was a superb exhibition of Art and Science.

The exhibits covered a big area of the park. We got tired. We sat down to realx and think...

We thought and we walked...we ended up at a lake...

They say it has a very big water jet..

Or do you travel with special russian security helpers?
    Seriously, it looks incredible...
Thank you, Corlan! Well, I had two beautiful girls with me so I just told them to make a show outside the station. And I got plenty of time with no one in the frame

Seriously, it was 2 pm so I guess everybody was at their fiesta. So when I got inside I saw just what you see on the photos. Just luck I guess.

And it's just from one capture.

Thanks! As I wrote before I just have an action set in PS. Basically, it does sharpening and then creates a layer on top with small blur with opacity set to 4%... I'll post it here somehow. But first I tune the colors before I run this action (and this I learnt from Dan Margulis).

In this particular shots I just applied this sharpening action and slightly added saturation. That's all

It's the second time we stayed at Barcelona. This time we had just 4 days. I agree you have to spend a month there to see everything. I haven't traveled much but this is one of the most beautiful cities. This time we drove to Monaco while stayed in St.Tropez and this city is very impressive too. I'll post some photos later.

Great set, for some reason the second photo keeps catching my attention.

And Rayyan's right. Hopefully everyone will stay safe.

Love the chess game, Rayyan. The processing works well here.
Also, the exhibition looked colorful and well organized... as for the water jet, yeah it's pretty big. But i'm sure you'll soon come up with an action shot

Wow, these guys really care about their siesta. I knew that from several past visits -and some business, but kinda remembered a slightly more flexible approach in Catalunya. Even in Mexico, where siesta is a "religion", you hardly find a major train station that empty at any time.

Lovely images, Corlan. They smell summer. So do the Chicago storm pics, #2 is the most pulling for me as well.

Me, I tried to offer this busybody bumblebee a seat for aesthetical reasons. Arrogant rascal went on buzzing.

These are just delicious. The subtle and elegant color is
marvelous . The red in stark contrast is glorious.

I can sense the movement in the gentle breeze.

    Truly wonderful work.

    They do move, don't they?

Leif, i love the mood in these tracks shot- perharps even more in the second photo, though darker and not as complex. Nice processing, too.

They could be a good basis for a super nice series
    ("dark summer in the woods"?)

edit: Thanks, Rayyan, you're too kind.

Wow. More gorgeous photos Rayyan. The light is fantastic on this set, depth's amazing in the mountains shots, and colors sumptuous in the last one. That Switzerland trip was quite a journey... how long was your stay over there?

Corian: I am truly thankful for your encouragement. I have been going
to Switzerland on and off for the past from the late nineties. Work related
mostly. But more on vacation for the past 6/7 years.

The Nikon pictures, some of them, are with the D70s
The M pics are obviously more recent from around march 2007.

following the Solistice Parade through your eyes has been...how do I say it..well...HOLA SENOR MATT.

Very soon, Rayyan, thank you for remembering. They will be posted on the Leica forum, though

Matt, Rayyan put it very well; Seattle has become a very familiar and joyful place for me.

    Thanks Matt.
The thing is that i was passing by and got time for only one shot for each. The wider angle from the car seat, widow open, then hastily got out for the "crops" and had to drive away (they have road works with unfriendly yellow suits even in remote places...).

Sounds like fun. Osman's right, in time you had us all look differently at Seattle. Good job.

Oh by the way, i did receive the sixpence from Steve for the tweety outfit and want to return the favor. I'm thinking #2, or maybe #4, would do. Please watch your paypal account, and thanks for your kind assitance.

Tons of good stuff keeps piling up in this thread!

Leif: The tracks are both very nice. Difficult light and you've succeeded in making it work.

Corlan: Superb wheat and unusual to see it "green" since it is usually presented as "golden". Thanks for sharing.

Matt: Parades are considerably sexier in your neighborhood than they are in mine! Cool series.

Here's a bit of British nostalgia for you, a 40 year old Escort Mark 1, being raced at the local circuit here in Pattaya.

Tim, thanks. It was actually greener, if not for the warm, late afternoon light. out of the box temp was realistic though, so i chose not to process after the fact.

Jorgen: super. The mid-day shadow adds to the composition and movement... and you're definitely pushing the panning technique to its limits
(next time though we want the same OOF but seeing the logo on the wheel rim ).
