I think you're right on that one, Jorgen.

When I was a kid, a local church used to stretch a white sheet between to volleyball poles and project 16mm movies on them on weekends in the summer. I saw lots of the old live-action Disney films, and old b/w science fiction movies over the years. Great memories.

One quirk was that if you didn't get there early enough, you'd have to sit behind the "screen", opposite of the projector, and every right-handed actor was now left-handed.

LOL!!! Yes, indeed. We've gone from the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, to the yawning, I'm afraid. At least that's what I heard through the grapevine.

That would be a walk-in, I think, but you can buy a plastic sheet to sit on for around $0.50. Here are two more:

Re: The New and Improved Fun with Nikon Images!

I don't have any concert photos to compete with Jorgen, so I humbly submit to you a shot of this year's crop of my photography students. We did our yearbook picture today and I am in the habit of showing up all of the other conservatory groups.

At least I could show it to Ayesha and say ' good morning, sunshine '
Rayyan: Procol Harum! Boy, that really dates you (and me). Terrific melange of color.

Jorgen: You ought to get out a bit and have some fun! The two movie photos are really exceptional. Excellent exposures and color. I'm trying to figure out the concert photo?

Re: The New and Improved Fun with Nikon Images!

Thanks, Matt. The metering on the D300 is good unless the scene is totally off. The colours and WB aren't too impressive out of the camera, but since I only shoot RAW, I'm usually prepared to do adjustments on the computer anyway.

No more concerts the coming weekend unfortunately, since I'll be busy shooting car races
