Around here we don´t have much more than winter on offer. Report from the woods here - at -16 C today. My son and Rulle.

Leif: Thanks for your kind words!

For my own skiing practice that clearly looks like "M....s" conditions (my personal "cold" ski). Nice captures of your son and a smart Rulle.

These were both taken with that useless onboard flash, but I hope you can figure out what's in the photos anyway

Thank you Steve. I'm afraid the magnetism is solely of photographic nature

    Gentlemen (women don't buy Nikon?):

I've had a very enjoyable 1/2 hr. scrolling through the last few pages. Inspiring work and interesting commentary!

    Thank you, Jorgenmatthewhermannjsfrayyanlloydromanstevelief.

Thus the difficult circumstances to take pictures (narrow, dark, stuffy in the engineroom etc., but great fun as well.
But I am not really surprised, that you like Deutsches Museum, it quite simply is a great place.
Hermann: My post was probably a little confusing. I realize that you were at the Donau-Schifffahrts-Museum. I was just noting that the Deutsches Museum - Munich is one of my very favorite, world-class, museums.

    Maybe here:

Or a little bit closer, here:

    Liesl Karlstadt

    D 700, 35/2.0D @ f/2.0

Could be in this cosy, little million inhabitant village:

    "Maibaum - Viktualienmarkt"

    D 700, 24-70 mm/2.8G @ 24 mm & f/2.8

Sorry for the quick & dirty PP, due to the quick comeback

We took the train. Zermatt to St. Moritz. Glacier express. It moved like one too!

Anyway, last passengers to board. Late.

Group of people seated, talking. Ayesha and I went in.

Good Morning. There was a silence. Stillness. Everyone looked at me.

I removed my backpack. Eyes followed me. Put it on the seat. Eyes.

Ayesha removed her backpack and gave it to me. Some moved further away.

The train rolled. 8 hrs of whispering was in store. Hi folks, I said we are from
.... And you are from? Silence.

Took a little while. But had a real party on the train. Lovely journey.

    Yup, thats me in there.

Rayyan: Good place to stop! Your photos are always aesthetically satisfying, and, invariably pique my curiosity. Wikipedia:

"Annapurna I holds the highest fatality rate among all 14 eight-thousanders. As of 2005, there have been only 103 successful summit attempts, and 56 lives have been lost on the mountain, many to the avalanches for which it is known. Climbers killed on the peak include famed Russian climber Anatoli Boukreev in 1997, Christian Kuntner in 2005 and Iñaki Ochoa in 2008."

Ayesha, aka superwomen, is fearless! This is a beautiful photo of the peak!

Hi Matt; glad to see you here!!

Thank you so much for your kind comments. No she did not even attempt the summit. Crazy but knows her limits.

    Regards.

It's the 83rd birthday of His Majesty The King of Thailand tomorrow, Sunday 5 December. The celebration lasts for nine days, with hundreds of thousands of people participating every day in Bangkok alone. They know how to celebrate in this country

    Nice car.

Pity about the distraction. Perhaps the taller camera will correct the framing error.

I learnt that folks hire models for photography...

Is getting to know people that difficult?
