Rayyan! Thanks for sharing lovely images - I agree; this can be a wonderful place. The people? Well; after a while we get very boring. :D
I´m real glad you had a fine trip!

I had one myself today; five hours in the woods, warmish spring weather. I love it when the sun finds it´s little ways into that dense semi-darkness.

Nice catch of the play of light, Leif.

I need to unload another test shot taken with the vintage 3,5/55 Micro-Nikkor.

This thing (Anemone nemorosa) has been littrally carprting the woods for a while now - as it does in large parts of Scandinavia.

Blooming brach; same set-up. BW: Silver Efex.

ISO 200, D200

leif: Beautiful. I especially like the color one. The white and the strong green are great. Cheers, Matt.

Leif: Hello there. Thanks for stopping by. Gamla Stan it is. First, let me through yo, thank the beautiful people of Scandinavia for making our trip
we shall never forget. The countries are gorgeous. The people were ' otu of this world '.
Moving away from Gamla Stan to your part of the world...

Wonderful place..the people made it heavenly for us.
rayyan: The PP of this photo really intensifies the already strong Norwegian colors. With the "tight" vertical composition, water, the mist in the distance, and the flag, it really creates a sense of place. All were nicely done. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Matt.

Rayyan: I came back to these. The first and the last are quite nice. What towns are these? My great grandmother came from Bergen (I love herring; but, can't deal with lutefisk!). Cheers, Matt

Matt: Wow...truly beautiful. The first one's color ( what do you call it ? ) is
something that really needs superb craft to get correct. The details in both
of these flower shots is amazing. I could almost touch them and feel them.

Well well done.

Regards.

So many beautiful photos in this thread now. Unfortunately, I don't have time to visit often. Here's my humble contribution anyway; the Central World shopping mall, or what's left of it.

D80 with 70-300 ED @ 165mm and f/8

And some red, the other kind.

D80 with 85mm f/1.8 @ f/2.2
