Pictures from my new nikon D7000! Just received this morning.

Oh wait!
Lightroom 3/ ACR/CS5 don't recognize the NEF's that the D7000 produces!
The version of NX2 that came with the camera's at my office!
The "trial" version downloaded to my MacBook Pro doesn't work (0 days remaining)!
The latest NX2 version is supposed to have problems with Snow Leopard, anyway!
I shot only RAW. Didn't want any jpegs!

:wtf::cry::angry::banghead::eek::mad::(:confused::rolleyes:

The form factor of the camera's very nice. The photo's look good on the camera LCD!

Cheers, Matt

Duh! I forgot about in-camera conversion to jpegs. Lightroom reads the jpegs. Our yard and library.

1. D7000; 105mm f/2.8 VR; 1/80s @ f/5; ISO 100

2. D7000; 105mm f/2.8 VR; 1/80s @ f/5; ISO 100

3. D7000; 85mm f/1.4G; 1/20s @ f/5; ISO 100

Monsoon season. Time to get wet :)

D300 with 80-200 AF-S @ 200mm and f/4.0

This reminds me of an older discussion that took place here about how different photographers can chose to depict a situation in different ways. Some choose to exaggerate the "horror" or misery of a situation, others capture the better aspects of human resolve and spirit. I like that these people are smiling and dealing with the high water with good humor. Nice shot.
