Beautiful movement,color & reminiscing moment!
Gentlemen: Thank you!Does indeed conjure some fond memories... not only of my own childhood, but of times with my kids. I think I need to take the grandkids to one soon.
Nicely captured. Thanks for the memories.
Steve: These are outrageously beautiful!!! Outrageously beautiful! The colors are vibrant, but "natural". :thumbup: (I looked for some Fall leaves today. Took a few photos with the D7000)4.

Oh wait!
Lightroom 3/ ACR/CS5 don't recognize the NEF's that the D7000 produces!
The version of NX2 that came with the camera's at my office!
The "trial" version downloaded to my MacBook Pro doesn't work (0 days remaining)!
The latest NX2 version is supposed to have problems with Snow Leopard, anyway!
I shot only RAW. Didn't want any jpegs!
:wtf::angry::banghead:
The form factor of the camera's very nice. The photo's look good on the camera LCD!
Cheers, Matt

This reminds me of an older discussion that took place here about how different photographers can chose to depict a situation in different ways. Some choose to exaggerate the "horror" or misery of a situation, others capture the better aspects of human resolve and spirit. I like that these people are smiling and dealing with the high water with good humor. Nice shot.Monsoon season. Time to get wet
