Vlad: Nice "attempt"! You've got a heck of a view. :thumbup:Attempt at night time HDR of the city.
Matt: seems a nice pair. But as Steve mentions some strange bokeh there pal!6. D3s; 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II w/TC-20E III; 400mm; 1/500s @ f/5.6; ISO 800

That's not bokeh, that's a Predator's cloaking field! Run lady! Run!Trying out the new 70-200 with the new TC-20E III. The third photo is an extreme crop of the second one. Thanks for looking. Cheers, Matt

Outstanding Cuteness! My Buddy Hamza?
Vlad, very nice shot with slight HDR effect!
Matt, the converter is sweet paired up with the 70-200vr2! Last one has some interesting bokeh...
Trying out the new 70-200 with the new TC-20E III.

What is your initial impression of this combination? Esp. change in image quality and focusing speed/accuracy compared to "bare" 70-200.
Steve
Gentlemen: All and all, i think that it's pretty good. Didn't notice any focusing issues and for 400m, the IQ's OK. Not as good as a 200-400mm or a 400mm, but OK, and a lot lighter (and less expensive). Probably a reasonable option if you're not a real wildlife shooter. Needs some more photos taken.Matt: seems a nice pair. But as Steve mentions some strange bokeh there pal!
Good color though!
Regards.
Carlos: It does look like that!!That's not bokeh, that's a Predator's cloaking field! Run lady! Run!
Rayyan: +1, "outstanding cuteness" and pp! :thumbup:Outstanding Cuteness! My Buddy Hamza?
Steve: Hamza's sister. Thank you so much sir.:salute:Outstanding Cuteness! My Buddy Hamza?
Matt: Much appreciated my friend.:salute:
Tim: Really nice series! Thanks for explaining the last one. The well used chairs and the worn piano keys really make you imagine the people, over the years, that did that. :salute:
Steve: Cool! Glad you concurred. Cheers, MattWell it's dark outside so I taped a home printed target on the wall and shot with available light. 70-200 VRII + 20E III...1/60 f/5.6 400mm. Hand-held and tripod. I am impressed with this combination. (They are somewhat sharper prior to jpg conversion)
Steve
Priceless!
I agree with Matt here. And I bet they even have that saying in Norway.Jorgen: "It's not the tools, it's the carpenter" Must have that saying in Denmark and Thailand. I like both of these. The colors in the bike and the corrugated metal wall are really wonderful.
Cheers, Matt
