More attempts at HDR. Ventured to the top of our building, Indy-style. 5 frames, D3x+24-70. I really need that 14-24 back in my life.

Driving back from lunch today, I saw that there was a "MFG CROSS" at Lower Woodlawn Park (just below the Zoo). Took my wife home and came back. I learned two things: I don't want to race cross and I don't know how to use all of the settings on my camera to shoot sports. Here's a few of the photos. Cheers, Matt.

Anthony: Thanks!Nice captures!! No snow is a good thing. It was just much more fun and EPIC when it was dropping 8-10" of snow. There were many crashes in the MN State Champ. After watching the race, I am in the spirit of starting to train for next season.

I like the B&W, too. It also obviates exact focus. I think the sense of movement's good, but I probably should have played around with the AF modes. Lower Woodlawn Park was where I rode my Schwinn when i was a kid. We lived a block away. Now, you can't ride a bike there. I think I'll try to find another Cyclocross race to practice.
