This is very weird! I thought i made this post yesterday? Probably just erased it.

Corlan: Thanks for checking in! Merry Christmas (past and future) to you.
Jorgen: Little bit of Times Square in Saigon (oops, Ho Chi Minh City). Nice colors.
Rayyan/Ayesha: Great portraits of the Prince of the Desert and the Queen of the Mountains. Please keep sharing your beautiful photos and enthralling narratives. Seasons greetings to y'all (y'all?). Thank you both.
Leif/Steen: The Intuit (Eskimos) reputedly have a hundred + words for snow (actually they don't; just a myth; although, here's a humorous take on it - http://www.mendosa.com/snow.html ). There should be at least four. Excellent photos of the cold stuff.
(Steve probably has a few choice words for snow now, too)
MHC: Startlingly simple. Interesting to see the tension between the white and yellow.
Rayyan: Great movement, shadows, light, color, and silhouettes!
Francesco-Itta: Brilliant! Here, I love the extended DOF. Terrific detail, color, composition, and IQ.
Peter: Nicely done! The Bigma gets you right in there. The water's cool in both.
Rayyan: Mixed by a Master chef! Clouds were the secret ingredient that you were keeping to yourself? That light on the peaks is great. Superb!
Rayyan: Well done portraits! Handsome young men.

Cheers, and, happy New Year.

Thank you, Matt. Actually, the part of the city where that photo was taken, the downtown area District 1, is still called Saigon. Ho Chi Minh City is the name of the whole city, which is 2,095 sq. km.

Jorgen: I didn't know that. Regrettably, I missed a visit in the late 60's/early 70's. :D

I wanted a clean shot of the building..but settled for this..
Oh well. Some other time maybe.
Rayyan: You give up too easily! You could have asked them to move. BTW, you should check your AF settings. Focus is way off!

Two lion cubs were playing in Ndutu area (Tanzania).
