Matt, Osman, Corlan...

Thanks for your well wishes.

Well I we are in Budapest. Beautiful city.

But I am in love with Alcase region!! No wine cellars, but made a lot of friends.

I am doing more of postcards than anything else. The knees and elbows are pretty horrid.

Ayesha has lost her zest, and we manage to walk at a verrryyyy slow pace.

The Rayyan factor is the last thing on our minds right now.

Let's see what Budapest brings. I am in an internet cafe in Vaci Uta ( ? )
sitting alone at a cafe watching the world go by.

Best.

Rayyan,
again, sorry for the setbacks you've endured lately. You definitely sound like in a bit of a gloomy mood. Hey, maybe it's one of those times it's ok to sit back and consider things around with a different, slower state of mind.
And yes, Budapest is a beautiful city... Get well my friends!

2 things to report...:D

1...got pick pocketed...lost my ipod.

2...US Film crew and me got into an argument...

They were filming ' tinker soldier ..something '. One side of the street was closed. The other was open.

I went to the other side, started to take some pictures.. crew jumped on me..

' you can't take pictures here '..
'why? there is no sign..Is this private property?
' we have rented it for the day..'
' show me the papers, I said.

Marco arrived. The head Honcho.
You cannot photograph here, he said.
why not, I said. This is a film set, he said.
This is a public street, I said. The other side yxou rented for the day, I said.
Where are you from? A lady with an American accent asked me.
Why, you want to go out with me? I said. Soliciting is illegal, I said.
Look, she said, you cannot take photos of the set.
But I can take photos of the public building from across the street, I said.
The police is here, she and Marco said.
Let them talk to me, I said.
This is an american film shoot, they said.
This is a middle eastern tourist, I said. I am minding my own business and you
are stopping me doing something which is proper.

Marco said, he had been to Morrocco. Good for You I said. Have you been to my country. Maybe I can extend you the same coutesy I said.

He spoke a few words of Arabic. I did too.

Marco..' look take a few pics and you can go on'
Me..' show me the rental agreement, now'
Marco ' I bet you us dollars 1k I have it'

Me..' Marco, I bet you 2K USD, I can take photos here'.

Another guy arrived..' let's shake hands and no problems, ok'

Me..' that's what I said'. I am in the EU, not Arizona. There are rights for peaceful tourists who are threatened by likes of you.'

The American..The police is here. Me..so are lawyers, and the EU bill of human rights.

I was allowed to photograph..I showed them, and then deleted them all.

Me..' be courteous and I shall be repectful..threaten me and I shall bark'

We shook hands. I asked him where they were staying. Why?

To pay you a visit with some legal friends. They laughed. I walked away.

Have a nice day Corlan.:D

Not being shy to get into a fight for what you think is right... a healthy sign, Rayyan. ;)

Security guys from pretty much everywhere tend to be overly agressive these days (try shooting in London for example, at least a year or so ago it was a hurdles race)... to their credit, they're themselves under a lot of pressure from above -even though it doesn't excuse being impolite nor unfair.

P.S. sorry to hear about the Ipod.
