Thanks Lloyd for the new thread.

Let me start with something I like the most..
people...

A hotshot photog has a book ' spirit of place '.. I think he got it wrong.

This is the ' spirit of place '. Not buildings or scapes.

Show me the people, I shall let you know about the place. That's what I believe.

I want to be a team player. But I can't. Nobody wants me on their team.

I shall tell you why..

They asked me to walk. I walked.

They asked me to hike. I hiked. Trek. I trekked.

They asked me to climb. I climbed. High. I said how high.

They stopped. I stopped.

To go up there, they said, you have to climb down here.

I told them to f**k off.

They said I was not a good example. Not a team player. A*holes.

Rayyan: Amen to that! But, as you remarked some time ago, particularly travelling broadens the mind, and that, what you stated here, is one of the fundamental conclusions, you can only experience by seeing the world ... A great picture and apt PP as usual; thank you for sharing!:salute:

In order to add some touches of color to the winterly pictures:

"Street Vendors, Segovia, Castillia y Leon, España"

Hope you like it and thank you for your interest.
Beautiful image, Hermann. And appreciate the color... things have been rather dreary around here of late.

LOL. This doesn't surprise me one bit. You've shown us repeatedly that you're very much your own man. More power to you, my friend. :salute: (Oh yes, stunning image too.)

I went to buy some fruits...ended up trading stories. So similar. Same as mine
was her life too. Just different places.
