Steve: Thank you, sir! I went back after lunch to photograph the dog's owners, but, they'd all moved on.
Peter: Like the dark, black and white, harlequin mask look of #2. Cool.
Rayyan: Soothing, calm, photo. As Steve said: "...a perfect painting!". Great watercolor subject.
Steve: Powerful looking guy! Nicely isolated subject and pp.
Rayyan: Thank you. It was a friendly dog and seemed well cared for.
Corlan: Thanks. It was the same violin player. I enjoy photographing (stalking?) her. Expressive face.
Corlan: Technically perfect to me. Excellent composition, shadow, and color.
Jorgen: Very interesting 'look'. Color's perfect (your's always is). Stick to Nikon, that way we don't have to look around for your photos.
Conrad: Beautiful flower shot!
Vlad: Ouch! Very artistically documented. I should put "ouch" in quotes because I just saw that Tim said it. Lucky lady.
Tim: Lovely composition, color, and focus!

Cheers, Matt

Sometimes, I wish that... sometimes, I think too much :)

D80 with 80-200 AF-S @ 135mm and f/2.8

Oh, and I like the colours that I get from the D80 much better than those from the D300. Much better. I consider picking up a D200. Or should I consider a Kodak? Or another Fuji?
Lovely!

Tim Conrad, nice flowers... Vlad's friend'll need those for sure.
Best wishes to her.

Rayyan, another interesting angled portrait of Ayesha. Was she enjoying the cafe terrace or just passing by? Not knowing, she does look dreamy, just as the composition.

Matt, really love the structured light and shadows here. Tones, too.

Rayyan: Thank you, sir. I don't think anybody should be climbing that fire escape. It is a nice bit of functional ironwork, though.
Rayyan: Nice capture. Ephemeral, and the pp suits.
Steve: Thanks!
Corlan: Thank you!
Steve: New, old, glass. Nice. Terrific set. The interaction of the children is beautifully captured. Me: #3 (composition), #4 (the kid's wonderment), and #5 (the child's trying to figure our how to actually give him the dollar & SEP2 frame). Wonderfully pp'd.
Steve: As has been said elsewhere: the composition with the painter really leads the eye into the painting's perspective. Cool effect.
Jorgen: Definitely got the panning down. I like "Number 20"! She was standing in front of a video screen?

Cheers, Matt

Steve, thank you. We are doing fine. Hunkering down for the summer!

Corlan, thanks. We had been walking all day. It gets hot in Alsace.

Rayyan: Nice capture. Ephemeral, and the pp suits.
