To get an idea how I shoot:



I have a quite narrow angle to use. Took a while to get the best camera lens combo. Lenses like the 70-200mm f/2.8 would be too long. If the lens sticks out of the window it get all the strong air from the propeller.

60D + 24-105mm IS: +IS, +Range, -Zoom, -not FF
60D + 100mm macro: +I, -Range too far
D800 + 24-120mm VR: +IS, +Top range, -Zoom
D800 + 105mm VR Micro: +IS, -Limited but ok range, -MAybe not optimal at infinity

I shoot at ISO 250, f/5.6 and speed between 1/1000 - 2/2000
