    Saving settings on D800

    I'm still away on vacation so just wanted to ask a simple question. I sold my D800 and bought a E version. My E comes Monday and I ship mine Friday so I won't have mine when the E comes.i would like to save all my settings to a card than reload them on the E . What's the process for this, I know it can be done. Just need the process for it. Thanks Guy

    Hi Guy,

    Page 335 of the manual says:

    MENU button -> SETUP MENU

    Select Save/Load settings to save settings to the memory card in the primary slot (if 2 cards are inserted).

    Greetings, Jurgen

    Yeah, it's silly and makes no sense. I ended up manually copying the settings between the two... after trying to load D800 settings on the E. Tedious...
