Question LCC required for future 35mm bodies?

    Dear all,

A thought occurred to me recently after reading the current "LCC" thread in the Medium Format forum: given the trend of ever increasing sensor resolution, will future 35mm DSLR bodies require an LCC, despite the use of retrofocus lenses?

    I do not think so.

LCC and such are curse with a few medium format sensors and Leica. Nothing to do with resolution but the camera/digital back registry distances.

Nikon and Canon would not let that happen to their 35mm cameras/sensors.
