D800E white balance

Apologies in advance if this is a dumb question. I'm just starting with my D800E and Leica R lenses. When I bring the images into C1, they look a little more red than I would expect. Is this normal?

After years of Hasselblad use, I rarely adjust white balance. It just seemed to be right most of the time.

I find my D800 and D800E auto WB to be near spot on to just a slight tad warm -- like 1 or 2 points of R and a point or two on tint -- when brought into C1. I do however prefer a cooler rendering so use a custom WB embedded in my styles on import. I created it by shooting a Passport at Noon away from other color influences.

Thanks Jack. It's not a lot but noticeable, all the same. The custom WB sounds like a plan. Now where did I put that Passport?
