Q7 ISO 12800 vs Nikon 1 V3 ISO 12800...

Just because I wanted to see what I was getting better.. I think the Q7 *won hands down* (heh), what da ya think?

(Nikon 1 V3 resized down from 18.xx MP to ~11.9-12MP to match the Q7 best possible. The quality gain from this is a completely fair for the Nikon in terms of what both cameras can give you in a comparison like this).

V3 looks impressive. I kind of like the Q7 photo as well. Would be interesting to see in b&w.

I think the Q7 did great for what it is, and Pentax does RAW noise reduction so maybe that's why their black has less of that purple/blue noise that shows up at this point. But the V3 clearly pulls ahead an amount that can be attributed to the sensor size difference.
