Technical Service Advisory for Nikon Z 6 and Z 7 Cameras

Nikon has issued a technical service advisory for users of the Nikon Z 6 and Z 7 cameras: "the vibration reduction (VR) feature in some Nikon Z 6 and Z 7 cameras may not function fully".

To check if your camera is affected you need to go to the Nikon website for your country, select Support -> Service Advisories, click on the Z6/Z7 advisory link and provide your camera's serial number.

For the US, the link is: https://www.nikonusa.com/en/service-and-support/service-advisories/technical-service-advisory-for-users-of-the-nikon-z-6-and-z-7-cameras.html

My Z6 appears to be fine.

For anyone affected, what does the issue look like?
Mine is unaffected but I would like to know more. I found other people say that their units appear on the affected list and yet they've not experienced any issues.

"Technical service advisory"? Who do they think they are kidding? It's a recall. Call a spade a spade. Dissembling is a bad look. What was marketing thinking?
