Nikon D5300

Hi, I have a Nikon D5300 camera, I bought back in 2016. Unfortunately the battery of the camera is down now, in fact down since 2017. I dont know why this disaster happened, within 1 year how come a battery is dead ! Although I like the camera and its all new features specially the Wi-Fi and the moving object capture capacity which is very helpful for games or sports photography, only the battery broke my heart. If anyone have similar experience please share here.

Sorry for your problem, but as they say $..t happens. Can be a monday morning unit. Usually these batteries last a lot longer.

If it died in a year didn't you have warranty to claim a new one?
If not probably something around 50 $ (or €) for a replacement battery will get you your camera back, and probably for much longer than just a year.
