It's just you.. NOT. Yeah, I've always loved my manual version of that lens. Very nice shot. Really like the b/w processing too.

Took the fuji out today to look at flowers in the park. Some smaller creatures were admiring the zinnias, too.

I tried myself in love story photography today, so here are first two shots:

well, I have more... a lot more! Two 8 Gb CF's are just very small storage! As I've learnt today.

    Any suggestions are very welcome!

Here's my suggestion: just subtract around 35 years from my age, and I'll model for your next session. You don't need to find another girl. This one looks fine to me

One last one from me before I have to return my rented D700. Not a macro shot but I'm quite impressed at the detail I've achieved taken from the center of a 50/1.4 shot.

Yeah... going to have to think carefully about whether to go back down the Nikon route, which I left 3 years ago.

Couple of friends ran a half marathon Saturday morning. They're brothers... the older one (on the left) was 4th overall, and the younger brother was 3rd... out of 618 participants.

I was actually there to shoot my niece, who was running her very first half marathon. She won her age group (19-24), and was 16th woman out of 409. Not a bad first try!

No, just too much work to do. Sounded nice on paper but finding the time to get there was another issue. I do have a show starting Sept 1 there though so its pedal to the medal with printing/framing right now... in between commercial work no less. Never enough days in the week.

I got a 50mm 1.4 G yesterday and tried it out last night at a warm summer night, minor league baseball game. Life away from the "coasts" and the "GF" "juggling" a busy life.

But it is easy. Just stay focused, and watch the camera so you know when it's going "click", or else you might blink at the wrong moment

Jorgen, You are too funny! Those are two excellent shots.

Not much going on here. I was just down by the pond and all I could find was a weed.
