Re: "Flying Ice, not Fish"

Shoveling ice before the crowds come to watch the non-pc fish tossing. Pike Place Market, Seattle. Thanks for looking. cheers.
Looks like a nice, quiet place right now. Excellent b/w

That's an excellent photo. Well composed and exposed and the b&w conversion seems to be spot on

Here's a snapshot, so take it for what it is. I was having lunch with a new "old friend" (as our friend Andree would have put it), and as we had nothing to do for the next couple of hours, she asked if we could go to see the tigers and crocodiles at Sriracha Tiger Zoo, so off we went. The lighting at the tiger show is awful (coloured stage lighting combined with open fire), and everything has to be shot through a fence, with around 0.5 second for preparations for each new scene. The guys behind the fence work fast.

Like the guys said...

World Famous!

Jorgen- this is some serious firing tiger
('like the stars in movement continuity in the composition, in this regard maybe i'd try and clone out everything at the bottom to black)

And here's the "old friend" :)

Taken in direct sunlight, with the old 70-300 ED. That lens is amazingly sharp up to around 150mm.

D80 with 70-300 ED @ 105mm and f/7.1

... and in colour
