Matt, the two sisters' expression you've captured is priceless.
Love the stall girl, too... reminds in some way of Six Feet Under.
And i concur with Lloyd and Steve on the window shot. Splendid.

Steve- camera porn ideed.
The second one posted's just unbecoming!

Jason- the Chi-town shot composition is excellent. It indeed looks overcooked (at least on my monitor), but the final shot will sure look great.
Nice ruins, too. Is it Carthage?

Lloyd- nice rolling aid shots. With Mimi running that fast it's a performance in itself for you to get some good photos in between catch ups.

Corlan, it's definitely overcooked. We were driving around the city and that spot just struck me, so no lights, just jump out and shoot. Good enough for composition and concept and he liked it. So that's what really matters.

It's actually about an hour south of Tunis, so same area, but not in Carthage itself. I really like Tunisia a lot.

More from yesterday:

Mimi's pretty special, and we've been through a lot together, so I don't often my head turned. However yesterday I noticed this cute little lady near the trail where Mimi was running:

.....

At first I didn't pay too much attention, but I noticed she was sort of watching me.
.....

I moved a little closer, and at first she seemed to be ignoring me, but then I saw it... that coy little look... just a quick glance, almost with just one eye... you know the one.

......

Before I knew it, I was fully under her spell. I mean, who could resist eyes like these?

.....

Good thing Mimi didn't show up just then... there coulda been trouble!:deadhorse:

No wonder your head turned for once. :)

Ran into a similar situation recently, when shooting the horse-in-the meadow (posted a few pages ago). He had a smaller companion, also a bit on the shy side at first:

After a couple of minutes and a few bribes, the mood changed -but still from a distance:

Did i say shy? Well, relatively speaking then. Probably because it was a boy... the missus had much more success:

Should i be jealous?
Well for Mimi's and me's sake, maybe your girl and our boy should meet... :)

all photos D3X 105VR - no crop - NX2 - no PP except curves, raw sharpening and the selective desaturation on the last one.

They do look like they'd be a good match.

Great shots, and I love the selective desaturation on that last one. :salute:

Corlan: Very nice horse portraits. I like this side shot best. Made to hang on the stable wall!

Lloyd: Nice engagement shoot. I didn't know what that was until recently, when my daughter's wedding photographer asked if they wanted one. I like this one. They're nicely framed, separated, and the way he's lovingly looking at her. Classic B & W PP.

Cheers, Matt.

Thanks Matt. That's one of my two favorites from the shoot as well. Interestingly enough (as always seems to happen), the bride didn't choose either of my faves, and choose several that I don't like at all. "No accounting for taste."

Thanks Lloyd.
Desaturation striked me as appropriate here with the respective hair hues :)

Love the two photos posted just above, especially the soft look in the firt one. Btw The highly contasted half-marathon shot rendering reminds me of Steve's technique.

And thanks Steve and Matt for the kind comments. :)
