Hey Steen, looks like you forgot you macro gear -no sweat, i got your back there :toocool:Yes Vivek, I think it is some sort of Dandelion relative, not sure.
Here's a crop. Any experts around ?
+1Love these reflection shots! So much going on but in a different dimension! Timothy Leary or Stephen Hawking would be proud...
Thank You Corlan..!I renew though my request of ban for the infamous Steve M. on unfair competition basis. :wtf:
Seriously, you're pushing the limits here. Series is simply top notch.

Like this one very much!
[Sorry, almost no Nikon gear was used to make these. Olympus E410, Noflexar 35/3.5, Filters- UV/IR cut for Visible and Baader U 2" for UV plus a hacked SB-24 (well, one bit of Nikon )]
Love This One!!!:salute:Thanks, Steve. Here is the same variety (shot 3 years ago) using a hacked D40x (dedicated UV cam), Noflexar 35/3.5 and a hacked SB-24.

The majority of them were shot using Nikon cams (various lenses) until a few years ago. Now, I no longer use Nikon for UV or IR. With the advent of liveview, shooting in UV and IR have leapfrogged to the 21st century (thanks to Panasonic's NMOS sensors.).

Corlan: Thank you for your comments! These macros are sensational. There's something joyful about looking at something that closely. Maybe it's the sense of discovery; seeing something normally hidden. Maybe, I'm just weird.Hey Steen, looks like you forgot you macro gear -no sweat, i got your back there :toocool:
