Tortoise & Hare (color version)

D3, 24 1.4:)
Steve: Two generations; two shadows. Nice capture. The tortoise looks like she's holding her own. Great leading lines.

Just Something To Smile About..

D3, 24 1.4:)
Steve: Very cute. See those d___ tulips are everywhere!

Just Something To Think About..

D3, 24 1.4:)
Steve: Excellent composition and B&W PP. Light and dark! Times are hard. They obviously made a covenant to share space and expenses.

Cheers, Matt

How odd. A merger?
Good question....:)
LOL. Check with the M&A group at your firm, Woody. Maybe they know something!

BTW, very nice stuff, Steve and Woody, esp. the B/Ws.
Thanks Lloyd.
Hostile takeover?
:D

Sometimes, it's good to be an early riser. :) (I actually missed the peak of this; it was an amazing morning.) "Red sky at morning, sailor take warning", for sure. It's snowed most of the day since that time. I miss Spring already!

Same combination - this time urban landscape in poor light.
Spectacular.
Nice to see some of your entries here, Woody.

Thank you.
Original, and perfect.

Old woman...

Regards.
As it was previously noted, circles of life, indeed.
Another Nat Geo pic here :salute:

Have not posted any images in quite awhile… was traveling the month of March and pedal to the medal since getting back. Been enjoying the photos you all have been posting lately though, lots of very impressive images.

Rob, hope you've got a lot more to come from your travels.

My beautiful niece.

D3, 105/2.8 VR @ f4.5, ISO 500:
Beautiful niece, composition and photo :toocool:
The angle prompt back in mind a previous discussion you had with Jorgen in these pages... nice illustration in that regard (pun?), too.

note to myself: terrific lens, i should get one... :deadhorse: :D

Wow! Some more awesome stuff that I will have to give a closer look to when I have a second to breathe...

Here's a couple from a protest at the Chicago Cubs v Arizona Diamondbacks baseball game. They are protesting Arizona's new immigration law. Pics have been picked up by a couple of news services already

......
The essence of PJ, hey? Be there... and make a good shot.

Tortoise & Hare (color version)

D3, 24 1.4:)
Love the color version, too.
Now it's simply a matter of reverse processing between the two versions to get the processing secret recipes...

(and the church sign shot is intriguing, indeed...)
