"Considering a pink rubber boa".

Sometimes, you take one photo and sometimes a series of photos. I'm surprised that I get away with taking 15-20 photos of the same people without getting noticed? click, click, click... It's a big camera and a big lens! Of course the big lens helps. Anybody have a D3s? Is the quiet mode actually quiet? I'm rambling. This is too many photos; but, these young girls were engrossed in the potential purchase of the pink rubber boa constrictor. I'm also surprised that I don't get arrested. Thanks for looking. Cheers, Matt.

Could it be because she is a he ... :D
Steen: Nope. No rude gesture and she was a pretty young lady who smiled when i walked by.

Steen: Nice capture. He looks a bit like Dennis Hopper. The neat red arrow conveniently points to his reflection. I also like the compositional 2/3-1/3 relationship of actual and reflection.

Cheers, Matt

I've started a blog btw. It will be a sort of day-to-day notebook, with text and photos, just to keep track of time and what it's filled with. Link below.
Great notebook, Jorgen
It's nice to get to know more about Bangkok, Thailand, and surroundings from someone who actually lives there.
Seeing a collection of your excellent images together in a notebook gallery provides an even stronger sense of The Udvang Eye.
Looking forward to see and read more in your notebook: http://epixx.wordpress.com/

Sunday's post. D700 mounted on a fast refracting telescope, an Astro-Physics 130 EDS. Focal length and aperture are 780mm and f6.
Great result Woody. Do you have a mount specifically made for Nikon?

BTW, that high ISO shot is terrific. Very film-like. Looks like Tri-X shot at 3200 and processed in Diafine.

A nikon to 2" telescope drawtube adapter is a common item. I'll post a picture of the setup over the weekend.

From the Arabian Nights...

In a land far away lived an old man in a little house with a little garden. he shared it with some little birds.

One day an intruder came..

He was big and tough..the family faced the danger head-on..

The battle was fierce...

But, as happens often in life, bravery alone is of little value. The male defended so that the family could escape..to make a new life.

The old man watched all this..he had seen it before and would see it again.
