Minolta MD MC = bayonet?

Hi,

Is the Minolta MD MC mount the same as the minolta bayonet mount?

The MC and MD series are manual focus lenses that share a common bayonet mount for older manual focus cameras such as the SR/SR-T series, XD/XG series, etc. It is different from the bayonet mount used on the Maxxum/Alpha autofocus cameras.
