Between 19cm and 32cm. At least that's what the manual says. I can get fairly close but not too much. For the price I think it's worth it though.@ dtakias: can you advise maximum focussing distance with the closeup lens fitted, please? I have not been able to find that info anywhere. I have ordered one, yesterday.
I'd be very interested to hear what you think of this tripod after having used it with DP2M for a while. Is it a keeper ?I am checking out right now the Benro MeFoto A1350Q1A Travel Tripod With Ballhead

Seems very sturdy fully extended for such a small tripod and fold down very small.
I appreciated W.Utsch's photo of his Nodal Ninja setup. I have found, however, that it is more simple and even more stable to remove the vertical arm (once the nodal point has been established and marked) and use a clamp directly attached to the rotator arm. Here's an example using my earlier model Nodal Ninja:Michiel: superb ("Old Dutch twilight").
@ W.Utsch: can you post an image of the Nodal Ninja 3 setup, please, and advise the setback you use to avoid parallax? I am looking at one of these myself.

Finally, to Michiel: I will be posting some images from Sydney today; paying work has stopped playtime!
Looking at your image above (not Rand's), you achieve the offset by how you positioned the camera on the top NN mount? This is a beautiful setup, and I will duplicate it but without the Novoflex levelling head (I will use a small ball-head instead) and I have a hotshoe level, too.The nodal point of the DP2M is about 3,2 cm from the center of the the tripod mount = the inner beginning of the focus ring at the lens.
