    Olympus SP590UZ 26X Zoom

Have you seen this announcement? From 26mm to 676mm effective range at f2.8 to f5. It also shoots up to 10fps for 25 shots and has double image stabilization. A teleconverter adapter can extend the range even further. It uses a small sensor at 12mp so even though it claims ISO to 1600 it probably won't be very usable above 400, if that. It does show some out of the box thinking and it will be available in march of this year. It has a viewfinder that looks like an EVF but it doesn't say. It has built in flash but also support the FL36R and 50FLR and wireless.

Seems to cover all my needs. I'll throw away my cameras and go for this one, for sure...

Definitely an EVF. Sensor isn't small it is teeny tiny 1/2.33", Kodak announced a 24x lens the day before
