Perhaps Samsung gives up small (pocket) cameras - like other manufacturers - because too many "photographers" with smartphones :)
I like my NX500 (verrrry good camera) - usable in bright sun only with LCD viewer :D ... forgetting NEX7 and GX7

what rumors say:

Summary: This is what happens:
1) Samsung stops NX sales
2) Nikon buys the current Samsung developed NX tech
3) Nikon will also enter a strong partnership with Samsung. Samsung will keep developing and selling sensors to Nikon.
4) Nikon will launch a new professional mirrorless system based on Samsungs acquired technology.

I have 5 cctv (Cmount) adapters for mFT, NEX, Canon EOS M and
cctv lenses (Fujian 25mm/1.4, Fujian 35mm/1.7, Fujian 50mm/1.4 .. $20).
Now I got an adapter for cctv-NX - it is 99% unusable,
dealer wrote infinity 100% possible - but focus range is 15cm - 40cm !
Price is €17 - €41!

All other adapters work fine, but cctv-NX is a misconstruction! Why?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flange_focal_distance

flange distance NX = 25.5mm
flange distance NEX, EOSM = 18mm
flange distance mFT = 19.25mm

cctv has flange distance 17.526mm

So an adapter for mFT, NEX, EOSM is possible, price $5 incl.ship. from China, but NOT for NX.
I think FotoDiox (and Tridax) NEVER tested their NX-adapter!

"sharpness" from 50cm to infinity :loco::mad::shocked:

only usable within 15-40cm :(

Don't buy!
