Well got the lens today. But no time to really play with it. I am still reserving final judgement but a few things:
- nice build
- surprisingly small (for what it is)
- pretty quiet focus.
- focus speed is not super fast but I wouldn't call it slow
- the "tonality" and "thereness" sure seems to exist
- happy to see you can manually focus and it's not by wire.

Hmmm dodgy - there's some nasty red artifacts on the sheep's backs.
:thumbdown:
And there's some really nasty purple CA on the grassed meadow. :shocked:
Other than that....very nice.

If you pop across to this thread http://forum.getdpi.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26832 and scroll down you'll see whatever angle I tried I got the same colour faults. Could it have been something to do with a Ram with red on his belly and a smirk on his face? but that doesn't explain the purple haze, Does it

I remember that you had to double the dose to get by the "Don't know if I'm coming up and down"Hhhmm.....maybe the purple haze is just a bad 60's flashback
