Well got the lens today. But no time to really play with it. I am still reserving final judgement but a few things:

- nice build
- surprisingly small (for what it is)
- pretty quiet focus.
- focus speed is not super fast but I wouldn't call it slow
- the "tonality" and "thereness" sure seems to exist
- happy to see you can manually focus and it's not by wire.

Hmmm dodgy - there's some nasty red artifacts on the sheep's backs.
And there's some really nasty purple CA on the grassed meadow.
:wtf: Red artifacts ? Purple CA ?
What have you guys been drinking ?

;)

David (and Ario of course), excellent shots and very promising, this lens is still high on my list !

Kind regards.

Hhhmm.....maybe the purple haze is just a bad 60's flashback

Stranger things have happened....

I remember that you had to double the dose to get by the "Don't know if I'm coming up and down" Then it could make a good 60's flashback ;)

Going out to look for some Strawberry fields in a while:thumbup:
