    (K-5) Touch of the moon

Took these two shots two nights ago. Saw the moon and decided to do an experiment using my car's ceiling as an impromptu tripod. The orange color probably comes from some air pollution, was going to white balance it but I like the little alien planet atmosphere it creates.

The moon was not a full moon but more like a half moon. I like how in the 2nd shot the darker side of the moon is also exposed creating a "comet" of sorts with the halos created with the lens.

    DA 70 mm prime.

Sweet and simple :-) I kind of like the 1st one better, perhaps due to the star burst around the moon?

Good to see your still here after I've been inactive for months btw ;-)

Thanks. I was confused if you meant me inactive for months or you :-)
