Not sure about the B&W work in the first post Mate.

What I think you should do is like Godfrey start of with the Leaves on the sidewalk, then graduate up to a Chef behind the counter in some SF cheap takeaway. ;-)

Yeah the B&W in the first post isn't that hot. I will agree. Would like to hear more details about what you see hot and not. I certainly don't want to do as someone else, maybe you may want to talk to that person directly about it :-)

Thanks for your comment, Raist. It was a grab shot I took when he was walking in a building, when he walked out of it, the scene hardly looked interesting anymore.

Nevertheless, I will try to improve that in the next shot.

Hakkalo - can you confirm that stabilization doesn't work with manual lenses?

This is an Elitar 1.5in f2.5 d-mount at maximum aperture.

Pentax Q with Steinheil Cassarit 2.8/38 d-mount at full aperture.

Impressed with these little d lenses - these are hand held at 1/100. Need to use a tripod.

I don't quite like the shot as it turned out but I like the idea of taking a shot like this.
