Pentax keeps improving the feature set on the K1.

Main addition here is the EFC will be allowed during Live View (just like how the D810 works)

Some changes to bracketing, but not sure if they allowed a change I had hoped for, the ability to bracket in M mode and just bracket the shutter speed not shutter speed and aperture both. Current style forces you into Av mode, and 5 frames one of which will always be blown out and discarded.

Got it :)
EC in LV work nice, in evening I will check if there are some problems with flickering lights.
1:1 Crop have to be inside from beginning. It turn on also two vertical lines in viewfinder to show crop area. Also very cool :)
Update: yeap as every Electronic first curtain it make waves on photos. So it is not flickering proof

Hi Michael

By ES do you mean electronic shutter?

I believe the EFC is used with pixel shift shots by default. In the reviews I have read about the K1 and pixel shift it was always mentioned that the pixel shift was using EFC to reduce vibration. In fact I believe pixel shift may be using a fully electronic shutter as there is no noise of the shitter opening and closing while the 4 exposures are taken.

Pentax is allowing the EFC with Live view with the new firmware which is a nice addition.
