Snow Leopard Printing issue fixed?

As you are no doubt aware, there has been a profiling issue with Snow Leopard -- Apple in their infinite wisdom figured that no image should go untagged, so the first releases of 10.6 would assume sRGB if an image were untagged. This helped users that didn't know how to tag, but totally screwed anybody that needed to print an untagged image like a profile target, since the OS would automatically tag it and thereby render it useless for profiling purposes.

Well the good news is that it seems Apple saw the error in that thinking, and the latest release of 10.6.3 has corrected this issue. So now Snow Leopard now allows you to print an untagged file.

Yeah!

I can't comment on the profiling issue but can say that the update to 10.6.3 was trouble-free.

Thanks for pointing this out, Jack. I did notice on the update that my monitor profile had been changed to a generic Apple monitor profile that in turn had been introduced with the update, as far as I can tell.
