Ilford Gold Fibre Silk

A great paper as we know however in light of the recent thread about Harman's paper changing then officially not changing... It has changed because the fixer smell we all love has gone away...! :deadhorse:

I noticed today that Ilford Gold Silk isn't available at B&H any more...

Hmmmm I'd assume B&H to sell probably more volume stateside than most suppliers so either they've had a tiff or the paper is going to be re-badged, renamed and the wonderful fixer smell removed...

Does anyone have any insight...?

Time to stock up... or is that their plan..

FWIW, inkjetart.com and atlex still have it available in all sizes, with no sign of any "issues". No idea why B&H doesn't. Have you considered emailing B&H to ask?

I kicked the fixer habit a long time ago My current favorite fiber paper is Platine and about the same price or slightly less than GFS in 24 inch rolls.
