Has anyone tried setting up one of the new Epson Eco Tank printers with a quad B&W inkset (eg. MIS UT inks or Cone Piezo inks) to print small greyscale images for note cards? I know that the ET printers use cheap, poor quality dye based ink, but I've used older dye based printers with carbon pigment based inks with good results (using care to carefully flush out the dyes first). Paul Roark also developed a B&W dye based inkset by diluting Noritsu black ink (basically same as Epson Claria) with a compatible base and that might be a better alternative to the pigment based inks.
