True, and the press release by Silverfleet is very interesting and confirms what has been apparent in recent years:I read that Silverfleet has sold their share of Phase One.
You could search Silverfleet sells Phase One to Axcel for 4.6x.
I don't think Phase One will be affected by ownership transfer from one private equity firm to another.

" Since [acquiring Phase One 5 years ago], Silverfleet has supported Phase One to undergo a significant transformation, from a hardware to software-centric business focus, which has helped drive a revenue CAGR of +38% in its Software Imaging Systems business unit between 2014 and 2018."
Given the business strategy, it's no surprise that Phase decided not to spend the R&D money to develop a mirrorless system that would compete with the GFX and the X1D. They opened up Capture One to Fuji and raised the white flag. Disappointing, because whatever you may think about Phase's pricing policy, it has an extremely talented group of employees who would be capable of producing a formidable alternative to the GFX and the X1D. What seems so compelling to me now is for Phase and Hasselblad to merge their operations together. Phase could cover the high end and the software, and Hasselblad the lower end. Unfortunately, there is likely too much bad blood between them.
