What misses the point for me is the 44x33 sensor. Hasselblad V is about the 56x56 square format.Using the new 907 body and only live view on the back screen somehow misses the point for me, though.

For me, still using the now old 50MP, frontside-illuminated, 14bit IMX161 sensor, and not the new 100MP, backside-illuminated, 16bit IMX461 sensor. What misses the point for me is the 44x33 sensor
I will have another 503 one day. But I would love a new one, too.
!
What no Euro 200 and 500 notes in there? The heck with food for yourself--you must feed Dante first!
They've advertised it as working with the V lenses via their XV adapter on the 907x, which would require the ES. I guess there's a possibility they could limit that functionality to use with the 907x only. But in the press release was mentioned , that the CFV II 50c back would not only fit most V-System cameras but also technical cameras as well as view cameras using the appropriate adapters .
That requires a sync port . I don't think the CFV II 50c will have an electronic shutter .
So Dante has you by the ba--s too?I'm just a poor photographer wanting far too many things :toocool: (not only photo stuff)
Jury-rigging the CFV II 50C to all this other equipment doesn't change the fact that it is a 33x44 back. Tail wagging the dog.Coming soon... "History In One System"
Hasselblad 907x & CFV II 50C
A truly affordable Digital Back for cameras with movements – we played with it on an Alpa, a Cambo Actus, a Cambo WRS and a Linhof Techno.
Of course we couldn’t resist also popping it on a 1960’s Linhof Technika with the Digi adapter as this also opens up a world of possibilities for all those 5x4 cameras out there!
(Limitations of lens focal lengths apply of course)
The 907x body gives you the modern SWC but with interchangeable lenses. The X lens fitting accepts the Hasselblad V H and Xpan adapters as well as opening up a world of adapter options from third party manufacturers.
Plusses and minuses. It's mostly a plus to me...Jury-rigging the CFV II 50C to all this other equipment doesn't change the fact that it is a 33x44 back. Tail wagging the dog.
What a monstrosity !
I dunno, I think it’s kinda slick looking.
Smallest and lightest MF camera with optical viewfinder .What is the advantage of that over an X1D besides it looks cool, in a steampunk kind of way.

What about all of us who already have a V system, want a digital back to use with it, and need/want an ultra wide lens too? This makes more sense to me than buying a whole new system, and I can still use film with my V system when I feel like it.Exactly. This is so old school next to the X1D I cant see why anyone would choose it particularly if they had XCD lenses already
