    Wayne,
The 5D is a great camera. I love it with the,
    I think it's the 24-105 or something.
I gave it to my friend cause it's to heavy for me in my old age.
You do very well with it.

I'm dealing with that Panny 20 at the moment.
I have the same issues as the DP2.....

I kinda have to sneak in this room cause I'm not small sensor any more.
Can't wait for you to go 4/3......

    Excellent series, Wayne.
Yes, after using compacts it does rather feel like one is as subtle as riding in on an M1 tank when using a DSLR
Thats rather how I feel at any rate.
But, if one can get away with it, the results are worth it

LOL, I had thought of getting the GF-1, but i had to spend a bunch lately
    1-kitty surgery
2-laser repair on my retina (covered by insurance but was stressed like mad over this)
3-keeping a promise to friend in need
I do occasionally post in 4/3 but 4/3 draws very little interest compared to m4/3, LOL.
I have been experimenting a lot lately with tele work with my Oly's, isolating subject, etc nothing I wanna post yet

Re: i always feel guilty using a dslr!

i swore i wouldn't get into another product line unless it really provided something different. the dp1 still does it. or the 5d if i need to step up to the plate. and the 5d ir absolutely magical, like nothing else. i simply don't see what 4/3ds offers. all the talk about equipment. here it gets (ultimately) into what makes a good photograph. come on back, don. do you still have that new dp1? every camera has issues. here's the 5d with the 85 1.2 L.

derek, basically you need a dslr. the only small sensors that have gotten close: fuji s6000, leica digilux 2, and sony 717. all the following galleries from photoshoots where i didn't have to push the iso. otherwise, they've great lenses, especially the latter 2 which are 2/3 rd sensors. i think they had it figured out before the 4/3 rds but never (foolishly) followed up.

Wayne like them all but, obviously, I've a soft spot for the S6000.
Fuji does this stuff REALLY well.
Loving my F200EXR and really considering the S200EXR

    Wayne.
I nearly bought a digilux 2 Leica before the DP2 but they were asking 5/6oo seconed hand on ebay, really fancied the Leica and still do, what a quandary.
